STEM Solutions was co-founded by James Rennie and Tom Weaver Smith. Having both previously worked in the graduate & junior IT markets, they saw a substantial demand to service the STEM sector more widely, and so STEM Solutions was born! With extensive knowledge of graduate & junior recruitment, combined with the forecasted growth of the UK STEM sector over the coming years, they formed STEM Solutions with the vision of becoming the go-to agency for graduate & junior STEM recruitment.
Director
After graduating from the University of East Anglia in 2018, James jumped straight into recruitment. Soon finding out he has a passion and flair for the industry, he spent just over 2 years plying his trade and learning the industry inside-out. He is now looking to develop STEM Solutions to its full potential, offering the most premium service on the market. Outside of recruitment, James enjoys playing 6-a-side football and he loves a pint of Guinness (after 5pm)!
Director
Tom graduated with a business degree from the University of the West of England. After graduating he went straight into recruitment quickly rising to a management position. After 3 successful years he realised there was a need for a versatile STEM recruitment company focusing on graduates & juniors and so co-founded STEM Solutions with James. Outside of recruitment Tom enjoys sport including football, rugby, running and taking part in triathlons.
